幼少～青年期
ビザンティン美術の影響を受ける。
ヴェネツィア 20代の後半にヴェネツィアへ 盛期ルネサンスの画家のティツィアーノ・ヴェチェッリオに弟子入りをする。
ヴェネツィア・ルネサンスの技術を習得する。
ローマ
30歳前にローマへ
フルヴィオ・オルシーニの支援を受ける。
スペイン
1577年の30代半ばにスペインへ
スペインでの初仕事として、『聖衣剥奪』を制作
フィリペ2世の依頼で『聖マウリティウスの殉教』を制作
1614年4月7日、73歳でこの世を去る。
